This is for carburetor restoration for 1978 - 1981  XS1100.
The following service will be done to these:
1. Carb bodies completely disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned and all passages verified to be clear.
2. Exterior surfaces for carb bodies and float bowls vapor blasted.
3. Carb tops vapor blasted and polished
4. Any steel components stripped and re-plated with zinc clear chromate.
5. New K&l float needle valves installed.
6. New Viton reusable float bowl gaskets installed.
7. New brass fuel tee's installed.
8. All float bowl, top cover, and control screws replaced with new stainless steel hardware.
9. New Mikuni vent tee's installed.
10. New rubber choke pull dust caps installed.
11. New Mikuni Main, Pilot, air jets, and needles installed
I guarantee these carbs to look like new and perform like new or better.
Carbs will be bench synced which should get things very close however most bikes will still need a final vacuum sync and idle speed set after installation.
There will be additional charges if the diaphragms need to be replaced, or if there is damaged or missing parts.
HOW THE SERVICE WORKS:
You will need to ship the carburetors to Joes Carb shop, 973 60th St. Caledonia, WI 53108.  Please include a detailed note with your contact info and any other info deemed necessary for the carb set. After your carbs are received I will do an evaluation on them to determine if any other parts are needed. After your approval the carbs will be serviced and any additional fees will be billed. Then the carbs will be shipped back to you. 
PLEASE NOTE! If the carbs are not serviceable or the customer chooses not to repair them. There will be a $50.00 charge for shipping and evaluation. Then return the carbs back to you.
